Location reigns at this 38-story tower on the San Antonio River Walk, set near "excellent shopping and eating" and boasting "great views", a "friendly staff" and "clean", "attractive" rooms, as well as "wonderful food" at the on-site restaurant; but praise screeches to a halt at the "terrible" and "expensive" valet parking, where attendants "make guests wait for 20 minutes" and "fumble through" the cars.

This was the worst hotel I have ever stayed at on business. I even left a night early.
Poor business practices within the lower desk at this hotel. Unfriendly staff. Could not get fresh towels. Too expensive for what I received. Left this facility and moved to another hotel due to aggravation. ...read more

Attached to mall, wheelchair access to Riverwalk.
Parking fees high, though not uncommon in this area.
While by no means a bargain. The hotel met our needs for wheelchair access to Riverwalk, access to the Alamo, and the convenience of the attached mall. Room was fine.

I highly recommend this hotel. I had no trouble with valet parking like I had read in some of the other reviews. The only problem we had was it seemed like the AC wouldn't cool that well at night and it was the weekend of the San Antonio Fiesta.
